Garden Place, Red Bud has been taking it a little easy this past week due to the hot weather. However this week we will begin celebrating on Thursday with "The Price is Right" at 2pm followed with a mini party in the evening consisting of Nachos, Cheese and Pepper Dip. Then on Friday afternoon there's a Wine and Cheese party at 2pm, following that we will play Bingo at 7pm. Last but not least, it's the big celebration on Saturday, the 4th with Lynn Wellman who will begin entertaining at at 6:30pm. We always look forward to her returning performances. Next week beginning at 2pm we will again be enjoying the RSVP Singers. At 1pm Thursday the Garden Place van will take another load of passengers to the Monroe County History Museum in Waterloo. This time we will be treated to a new display of military artifacts and memorabilia. Due to the large contribution of historical items the museum can no longer display them all at one time. They are going to feature a different theme every couple of months.
